Goals
The main objective of the project is to limit the presence (in the Emilia area) and the spread (in the Romagna area) of grapevine yellows (FD and LN), mainly by means of preventive and symptom control activities for a more sustainable management of the disease.
In the fight against these phytoplasmosis, a key aspect from an epidemiological point of view is the monitoring of infected vine plants and the spread of vectors, which makes it possible to reduce the sources of inoculum through the timely removal and destruction of infected plants and the direct control of vectors.
