Goals
The general objective of this plan is the validation of innovative and sustainable technical strategies that lead to a reduction of pollutant inputs from the technical means used for weed management in the industrial and extensive horticultural crops sector in the Emilia-Romagna region.
In particular, technical paths will be evaluated to reduce the use of chemical weeding such as the use of cover crops and mechanical weeding; with a view to better preserving the organic substance of the soil.
